The store is in New Zealand, customer is in Australia. The product being sold is advertised for a price then the customer is charged a more expensive price at checkout  (in the same currency). It is illegal in New Zealand and Australia to promote a different price to the amount a customer pays to purchase the item. The difference is way more than the credit card fee.

So your 100% certain its the same currency?  Not NZD and AUD (Both $)

If it is the same currency, are you using Shopify Markets at all?
