Online Payment Link for Cash on Delivery Order - To be sent after customer completes checkout

Dear Shopify Community,

We're currently exploring ways to improve our customer experience for cash on delivery (COD) orders. We're seeking a solution to send a payment link to customers who choose COD, allowing them to conveniently pay online after receiving their order.

Current Challenge:

• Unique Payment Link: The payment link needs to be specific to each order, similar to the "Raise Invoice" feature in Shopify's order details screen.
• Payment Status Update: We aim to automatically update the order's payment status in Shopify once the payment is completed.

Ideal Solution:

1. Payment Link on Order Status Page: Customers who select COD could be presented with a "Pay Now" button on the order status page after completing their purchase.
2. WhatsApp Payment Link: A WhatsApp message containing a unique payment link could be sent to the customer, allowing them to complete the payment online.

Additional Considerations:

• Customization: We're exploring options to customize the thank you or order status page to include a more prominent "Pay Now" button.
