Order number on USPS postage shipping labels (missing)

Hello,

 

This just started happening a couple days ago. I purchase all my postage through Shopify Shipping. I primarily use USPS. When I purchase a label via Shopify Shipping, it would print the order number on the postage label. Today it stopped doing that.

 

Anyone else having this issue?

 

I contacted Shopify via chat and the response was shipping labels never had order numbers printed on them. However, their own help doc shows that they do in fact print order numbers: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/shipping/shopify-shipping/managing-labels/changing-and-voiding-la...

Thank you for sharing that feedback with us here. I looked into this and it appears that this was a brief issue with label creation that should now be resolved. You should be able to void the labels missing an order number and recreate them to fix any labels affected by this.

I thought it was just me. Mine started doing that today too. I have yet to reach out to support though.
