Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
I've never heard of this before, I'm guessing you have some kind of filter set on your orders page, or if it's mobile app maybe there's some cache blocking it.
Log into Shopify admin from website, then click Orders. That will show you a fresh page of all orders. If an order is not listed there, it was not made on your Shopify store.
I am sure it was made on my shopify store because the client sent me a screenshot.
Later that day she placed another order and it showed up. The order number was close to the order number in this photo.
The frustrating part is that it never showed up in the orders list. There was a lot of guessing on our team's end. I had to ask the client to send me screenshots.
Additional context: No changes or fliters were applied to the shop prior or during the time I received the orders.
