Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Our customers are receiving the customer confirmed email before payment
We have a local third party payment provider which when the customer proceeds to order takes them to an external payment portal. When this happens they receive the order confirmation email even before paying.
Is there any settings to change the trigger for sending confirmation email?

Great question! This is something that would be done by the payment gateway itself. I recommend contacting your gateway provider directly to report this issue, they are the only ones that can resolve this.
