Part Payment for Cash on Delivery Shipping

Hi! I sell high value products ($1000). I'm looking for a method where I can accept a token payment ($50) for cash on delivery orders. Is there a way to implement this (App / settings tweak), please ?

I'm not sure if I have fully understood your request.

You would like to have your customers pay $50 with credit card (or other prepaid payment methods) and then pay the remaining total with Cash on Delivery?
