Paying shipping when in test mode

Hi, 

Shopify charged me shipping for 3 orders in test mode. Is this correct? I don't think I should be charged for anything that was under test mode.

From your post it sounds like you went ahead and purchased shipping labels for these test orders you made, is that right? Shipping label purchases are live and there is no option to purchase them in a test format. You can cancel the shipping labels, if they have not been used, and you will be provided a shipping credit back to your account. The credit will be applied to future shipping label purchases through Shopify Shipping.

You can find the steps for voiding a label in our Help Center here: Changing or voiding a shipping label. I've also included the steps for doing this here.

 

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, click Orders > Shipping labels.
  2. Select the shipping labels that you want to void.
  3. Click Void shipping labels.
  4. Select a reason for voiding your labels.
  5. Click Void XX labels.
