Payment and shipping

Hiya people,

having provlems on how to get payments and shipping on here.

ive got europe as active now but i go to buy one of my own products and it wont go through.

Anyone know what im doing wrong as finding it difficult to try and fix.

Hey there! 👋 Sounds frustrating—Shopify can be a bit tricky when you're just getting started.

First, check your payment settings. Make sure your payment gateway, like Shopify Payments or PayPal, is fully set up and active. If you’re using Shopify Payments, double-check that your account details are verified because payments won’t work until that’s sorted.

Next, take a look at your shipping zones. Head over to Settings > Shipping and delivery to see if you’ve set up shipping rates for Europe. If there’s no rate for a location, checkout won’t let it through. Even if rates are there, sometimes just re-saving them can help.

It’s also worth making sure your payment gateway isn’t in test mode. You can check this under Settings > Payments. If it’s enabled, real payments won’t process.

Another thing to check is the product settings. Make sure your product is set up to be sold in Europe and has the right shipping details. Also, confirm it’s available on all the sales channels you’re using.

Lastly, it could just be a browser/cache issue. Try clearing your cache or testing in incognito mode to rule that out.
