Payment Gateway not being redirected to Payment Page

Hi Guys

 

Does anyone know how to fix the issue of Payment Gateway not redirecting to the payment page? When a customer clicks the "Place order" button, they are supposed to be re-directed to the payment page but nothing is happening.

Hey, @zimseller

Thanks for bringing your question to us here. I definitely understand the importance of getting this resolved, we'll get to the bottom of it together.

 

To begin, may I ask which Payment Gateway that you're using? Have you recently made any code changes to your theme/cart? Or, have you added any apps around the time that you noticed this occurring? To get further clarification, I will ask you to try customizing a fresh theme in your admin. To do so, please follow these steps: 

  1. Log in to your Shopify admin
  2. Click on 'Online store > Themes' 
  3. Scroll down to 'Theme library' and click 'Customize' beside one of your themes listed here. 

If you don't currently have any other themes downloaded, please download a free theme for testing purposes. To do so, head back into the 'Online store > Themes' section of your admin, click on 'Explore free themes', click on any free theme, and then click 'Add to theme library'. Once this theme has been downloaded, please follow the steps listed above. Once you are finished, feel free to delete the theme from your library. 

 

Are you facing the same issue in the fresh theme? If not, it is likely that this is the result of some coding changes that were made. To resolve this, you may need to roll back your theme to undo those changes. If you did not make any changes to your theme's code, let me know.
