Payment is too old, So I can't refund through third party

Hello,
I have an integration with a third part, so I deal with my orders with shipping through them. But when it has to be returned through them, it says

"{:error_type=>"Runtime error", :message=>"It was no possible to perform action because the order is too old. Please perform the action manually in Shopify."}."

I have asked those I use, and they say that something needs to be changed in shopify. Can I change the payment deadline or are there any return settings you can change in shopify?

I have another webshop where it works, so I know you can
