Just to gather some additional context, have you set up a payment gateway for your online store? In order for the checkout to accept payments, you will need to set up a payment gateway. You can check and enable payment gateways by navigating to Settings > Payments to begin.


If you can confirm that you have a payment gateway, you will need to select a Shopify subscription plan to have the checkout enabled and allow your customers to complete their purchases.
