Payments completed but orders are showing as abandoned

We have used our site with out any issue for about 4 years connected to Worldpay but as of Saturday all orders or showing as abandoned even though all payments are completed. It has happened on every transaction about 30 a lot of which are repeat customers who have used our store before.  Any help much appreciated as to what might be causing this as we have not changed anything

We've had this issue since 3pm Saturday. 

Nothing has been resolved as of yet.

It ISN'T a Worldpay issue & Shopify finally admitted today there's a fault at their end after continual denials yesterday! 

They're working on it apparently 🤷‍♂️

Us too and football fans are very unforgiving!

 

Spoke to Worldpay this morning and they have confirmed that 'Shopify's server is timing out and therefore not receiving a callback'.

 

We wait with baited breath!

We've had the same issues and are losing sales, not to mention the poor user experience this is causing.

Customers are being returned to the main checkout after completing payment, rather than the /checkout/thank_you page. They are also being treated as abandoned carts rather than completed sales. The resulting sales don't appear in the Shopify dashboard stats (or Google Analytics) as both are fired upon the customer returning to the confirmation page. 

Our analysis suggests that the MC_callback and MC_return being posted to the Worldpay system from the Shopify checkout may be incorrect. We're not 100% certain of this and it may just be an issue with reading customer cookies to redirect them correctly once they return to the Shopify website.

As a developer with nearly 20 years integrating with Worldpay I'm used to be able to fix such issues myself. Sadly, with Shopify we're entirely in the hands of their developers to come up with a fix.

Ours appears to be fixed now.

We were having the same issue and it's since been "fixed", but it still isn't redirecting our customers back to our order confirmed  page - it just stays on the worldpay thank you page. Any tips?
