I was advised that my payments are being held, I uploaded the necessary docs .  it has been a week and I have not received any info other than the payment team is busy. I love Shopify and I understand they need time to "review" but I am asking the community how long I should be expected to wait since Shopify CS stated it should take 24-72.hrs.

 

I have cut advertising, stopped marketing this site and I am focussing on other channels - funny I opened the shopify store to not be dependant on marketplaces but this issue has taught me to make sure I am diversified, 

 

looking for an idea of how long this can take, thanks all

@jeffreykevin Shopify payout holds usually take 24-72 hours, sometimes up to 1-3 weeks. For faster responses, I recommend escalation through Live Chat. If that doesn't change anything soon, you can complain to BBB and it has resolved for some merchants.

thanks for the info 3 weeks, I guess I should unsubscribe from paid apps
and take the money they want me to borrow 🙂

Yes, three weeks is a long wait. Cutting unnecessary costs like paid apps sounds like a smart move for now. Hopefully, Shopify resolves this sooner rather than later.

My current payout is inexplicably on hold right now as well. Ive never uad a problem and have positive delivery confirmation on everything I have sold since establishing my store. My issue has also been escalated through Shopify's "Customer Service Chat", meanwhile my money is sitting there in pending without explanation. So far its been two weeks for me.
