Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hi, my business is about a year and a half old, and over this summer, for the first time we are receiving steady sales. Our payouts were put on hold recently on June 10th, and I have not gotten much reasoning or help from Shopify Support. I am always told the same thing; "Your ticket has been escalated".. "You will receive an email from support soon regarding this issue".. "I can't give you further details because I am unable to see such information due to privacy"..
I don't think there's actually anything being done, the ticket is probably in a limbo someplace.
I believe there is around $5,500 on hold at the moment. I can't even see the balance anymore for some reason. We rely on sales revenue for business operating expenses (obviously), and I have had to fulfill new orders with personal money, and there have been other orders that I had to cancel and refund because of the lack of funds to fulfill the orders. In other words, our company is on the verge of shutting down.
We have spent a year and a half building this company on Shopify's platform, which we have loved, and now that we are seeing the fruits of our labor pay off for the first time, it feels as though everything has been sabotaged.
Also, I'd like to mention that earlier this year we opened a Shopify Balance account (we previously were using a business bank account for payouts from a local bank), thinking that the payouts would be received quicker, as advertised, but that was not the case.
I suppose I'm here asking the community if there are any fellow business owners that have experienced a similar issue. I'm not sure what to do at this point.

Based on experience, this kind of issue will take some time to be resolved. So, the best course of action is to keep an open communication with the Shopify support team as they are the only one who can check your account status better. You should follow up regarding your case with them from time to time via live chat instead of email or ticket as it can go further on the queue.
