Has anyone else noticed a difference recently with their payouts taking longer?
Recently there's been a change in my payouts. I've spoke to customer service & opened escalation tickets but I never hear anything back from the escalations. I was receiving payouts into my Shopify Balance same day or next business day for months. I was thrilled with this! I had to briefly change my payout account to another bank for a few days. When I changed it back to Shopify Balance my payouts started taking 5-6 business days. Last agent I spoke with told me to change it to an account that could be verified with Plaid and that should take 2 business days for the payouts. I've done this & I am now waiting a ridiculous amount of time for my payouts. Earnings from sales today will not show up in my account until 10/21/24. Shopify is severely limiting my ability to pay for my business operations. I do not want to leave Shopify as I've been happy for a few years. However, if they cannot fix my payout issue, this will be a deal breaker and I will have to look at another ecommerce platform.

Ive been dealing with them for 2 days regarding this issue! I’ve done everything they said, still nothing. Plaid doesn’t show up after changing my bank info & that’s the problem. It seems this didn’t happen until I tried the Shopify balance.
It is happening to me as well. I would receive daily payouts, sometimes within hours, and all of a sudden payouts are out 4 days. I have contacted support a second time and now they’re escalating my issue. I did receive a message several weeks back on a payout, congratulating me for my first payout. However I’ve been a merchant receiving payouts for many years.

Okay, so I’m not the only one. I was told that they changed my payment schedule to 5 days. The rep made it seem as if Shopify Balance doesn’t do next day payouts. Meanwhile, my payout schedule is set for every business day. This is extremely frustrating.
I've been fighting with them for days. Every single chat starts with them arguing with me that everything is fine and they're not seeing any issues with my account. After multiple back and forth chats, they've finally agreed that I was right and they "escalated". This has been escalated every single day this week with absolutely zero response and our pending transactions bucket continues to grow as the payouts trickle into our account.
Same here. Been noticing Thursday and Fridays sales taking until Tuesday/Wednesday to be deposited. Thursday and Friday sales always got paid out on Monday. Small little amounts hit on Monday. Shopify is playing the float with users who set their payouts to daily. They are pushing it out 3-4 business days now. Greedy SOB's.
Yes!!! I am beyond frustrated. My payouts happened usually same day with my Balance account up until 10/21. Then all of a sudden, it didn't.
I've made no changes to any bank info at all but my payout was scheduled 2 days out. Then on the day it was scheduled to be paid out, it got changed to the next day (pushing it 3 days out).
Now it has updated to say it was paid but nothing has actually been deposited into the Balance account.
I've had 3 escalated tickets where customer service tells me they don't see anything wrong & that I'll get the payout. UNACCEPTABLE!!!
I cannot purchase what my clients have paid for which is making it hard to reach our deadlines & hurting my business!!
