PayPal and Apply Pay Tests on Production Store

I have a current live store on Shopify Advanced that does not yet have PayPal or ApplePay set up as payment options. 

I would like to integrate these options and submit a few test orders. 

I cannot use the "test mode" via Shopify payments because it will apply to all orders coming through checkout on my live site. 

Is there any recommendation on how to test new Payment options with a Shopify store that is already on production?
