Hi
I have just opened stor on shopfy iam using default paypal express for checkout
its giving "Receiving country does not support the transaction currency."
store location INDIA currency INDIA
Hi, Knowpein.
This is Max from the Shopify Team.
It sounds like you might need a little help with either your currency settings and/or your PayPal account. I've taken a look at the Currency Codes page listed on the PayPal site and can see they have some specifications for Indian Rupees (INR). Is this the currency you were looking to use?
If that all looks good, be sure that your Shopify settings match. Head to Settings > click General > scroll to Store currency then select the correct option.
Once that's all been saved and adjusted, let us know if you run into any more issues. If you have any further questions or need some clarification, please feel free to reach out to us again.
Cheers,
Max

hi thanks for reply
but default currency is already INR
I have not enabled currency conversion but issue is still there
at payment providers settings it shows about setting up merchat account tha be setup after first sale only.
so how should proceed with this should I pay for first order in dollars and check for mail from paypal for setting up account.
there should be a solution to this right ?
Your store accepts PayPal payments with PayPal Express Checkout. A PayPal button will display during checkout.
After your first sale, PayPal will email you at **********@gmail.com with instructions for setting up a PayPal Merchant account and claiming your funds.
Hi, Knowpein.
Max, again.
Have you received an order on your shop already using PayPal as the payment method? If not, it would be worth doing a test order yourself to complete the PayPal set up.Your last message makes me think you've chosen PayPal as a payment method, but you've not completed the connection yet. This would prompt you to do so after completing an order and send payment to a new account with your Shopify account email.
If you already have a PayPal account, I'd suggest connecting these details to your Shopify admin. This can be done by deactivating your current PayPal set up and connecting the correct details like this. I'd also suggest confirming that the details of your current PayPal account support this currency!
If the issue persists, please let us know some more details over email so we can review your settings and authenticate your shop access!
Cheers,
Max

hi how are you I have same problem too with paypal and with checkout.com is not working I don't know what about thirdy-part with d.local ?
Anyword on how to fix this problem . I am in the Bahamas
Hi Siya1,
I am also in South Africa and having the same problem.
Did you find a solution?
Hi,
I choose United Arab Emirates Dirham(AED) as Store currency,
the PayPal business account is registered in China.
There is no United Arab Emirates Dirham(AED) option in paypal.com/businesswallet/addcurrency page.
Should I register a new PayPal business account in United Arab Emirates?
Or is it help if I add Currency Conversion APP to the shopify store, sot that products sold in AED and USD?
Does anyone get this problem solved?
Hi;
I have the same issue.
From UAE
How can I fix it?
Thank for your reply
