PayPal Not Loading for Customer

I had a customer contact me about PayPal not working for them. As far as I can tell, PayPal is set up correctly on my store. The customer says when they click the PayPal button, the loading icon spins for a while, then they get the error message "PayPal not available". They are using an apple tablet. They said they are using the "apple browser" which I assume means Safari. They said they just updated the iOS recently. They had made purchases on the same device using PayPal in the past.

Customers had been paying successfully with PayPal the day before this customer contacted me (yesterday). I haven't seen any PayPal transactions after (although that could be a coincidence).

At the moment I can't tell if this is an isolated problem with one customer, or if others may be experiencing the same issue. 

If anyone has information or ideas on what might be happening I'd really appreciate it.

Paypal cannot load on Safari MacOS or iOS

So after multiple testing, found all all Safari browsers under Mac and iOS are unable to use PayPal to place order, Android and Windows is working fine, I use MacBook to operate Shopify and it making error loading all the time, didn't expect to will affect the customers side as well, just reported the problem to Shopify staff, they promised will fix it at the same day, still not fix at this moment.

I got the same issue. I will write the shopify support and recheck again tmw. If I get any news I will let you know.

Hi everyone,

1. It seems like the PayPal functionality is working again on our end. Is it working for you as well?

2. However, I've noticed an issue specifically on macOS devices. In the checkout, the PayPal Express button (at the top) is showing up correctly across all platforms, but the regular PayPal option (listed under other payment methods like Credit Card and Klarna) is not appearing on macOS. It's visible on Windows, Android, and iOS, but for some reason, it's missing on Mac.

Has anyone else the same problem?
