I'm a newbie and having a problem with a Pending Payment which is now approximately 60 hours in a "pending" state.
It's a new store and this is the first order.
It is being processed by PayPal Express Checkout.
Shopify payments is running.
The Payment capture method is Automatic at checkout.
I have checked my Paypal account and there are no transactions (this is my first order since it went live).
I read online that there can be delays with with a new store and I should wait 48 hours. It is now approximately 60 hours.

Generally, the platform clears the amount/payment within the given time period but in your case, it's taking too much time. I would suggest you connect directly to customer support mentioning every single detail.
