We have a default set up for paypal express check out, but we have not actually set up the account yet. Then we got an order and prompted us to set up/connect to a Paypal account to claim the payment.
Can we cancel the order as we don't really wanted to use the Paypal Checkout express as it is not trackable in the accounting software that we currently use. If we cancel, will the customer automatically get a refund?
For this particular refund, you will need to get in touch with PayPal and have the refund go directly through the gateway. Orders placed before this account activation will still not be able to be refunded through Shopify directly, but any orders placed after the account activation will be refundable through Shopify.
