Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hello,
So this is the problem:
I want to include the shipping costs of my printify products in the price itself and at checkout, have shopify say free shipping. I have flat rates set to free on everything. But when i add a product to my cart and checkout. It still gives me shipping costs, probably because printify overwrites it.
I've tried everything, and I can not seem to find the solution to just have the shipping cost set to free in checkout.
Check if the product is in a Shipping Profile that charges money in you shipping settings in Shopify, if yes, move it to a free profile.
If that doesn't solve it, I would contact Printful directly, they probably have a common workflow / guide for what you're asking.
Hi @DriftArmy !
Even after setting “Free shipping” in your Shopify shipping settings, you might still see shipping charges at checkout. This usually happens when the product is assigned to a different shipping profile than the one where free shipping is configured.
To ensure your products follow the correct rates, they must be added to the same Shopify shipping profile that includes your free shipping rule.
You can review and update your shipping profiles in Shopify Admin > Settings > Shipping and Delivery.
For a detailed guide on aligning your Printify products with the correct Shopify shipping setup, refer to Printify’s help article:
How do I set up custom shipping rates (ex: free shipping) with Shopify? – Printify Help Center.
Also, to add the shipping cost to your products, in Printify, head to your product’s pricing section during publishing, and manually add the shipping cost to your retail price before sending it to Shopify.
