Problems with discount code

We have the following problem: When checking out, customers can usually enter a discount code or coupon code. When entering the discount code, some of our customers have problems. Normally the field for entering says "discount code or coupon code". But for some customers, it only says "coupon code". That means they can't enter discount codes, which is the most common form of discount for us. And then cancel the purchase because they can't enter a discount code. We are at a loss as to what to do....

In the picture you can see the problem. There is only written "Geschenkkarte" instead of "Geschenkkarte oder Rabattcode". So the clients are unable to get a discount

One potential solution to this problem is to change the placeholder and label for the Discount Code. To do that follow below steps.


1. Go to Online Store > Select Theme > Select "Edit Default Theme Content"




2. In the search bar look for Discount Code. You will give option to change Placeholder and Label of Discount Code and Gift Cards. 




3. Edit the text as per your need and hit the save button. You will see the changes on your checkout page after saving it.
