Products not charging shipping or charging incorrectly

Hello 👋🏼
I am brand new and struggling with my shop not adding shipping or adding an incorrect amount. 
I’ve been in and even tried adding a back up rate but nothing is saving or working in my favor. Lol. 
Any suggestions for a tired dementia daughter?

much appreciated in advance. 
I am about to add a ton off items and want to make sure I’m doing it correctly from the start.

Welcome to Shopify! I understand that some aspects of setting up your store such as shipping settings can get tricky. I'd be happy to help you troubleshoot your shipping settings here on the Community Forums. It sounds like you are noticing that during checkout the correct shipping rates are not being applied to the order is that right? Do you have any weight/price conditions setup for your rates that are perhaps not being met? It's a good idea to double check your product pricing/weights if that is the case.

Feel free to share a screenshot of your shipping rates and I can take a closer look. You can find those in Settings > Shipping & Delivery > Manage Rates.
