Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
I'm trying to replace the bank account on my Shopify website, apparently when I was setting this up, I put incorrect number on the bank account information where now I don't know how to find out what number I put wrong and I need to replace it with the right one. where can I find then old one I put on the website because I looked but there is no way I can see the bank account number I had to begin with. can you help to resolve this please. I can't receive payment because of that I remember I put the same account but is has different numbers on the end but I guess I didn't enter the right numbers.
Hi, @nancecoboutique.
My name is Tira and I am here to help.
I understand that you want to switch the bank account that you have on file to a new bank account. Are you using Shopify Payments? Do you get an error when you try to change your account details?
If you're using Shopify Payments, you will need to verify your old bank account information to update your bank account on file. The store owner can edit this information. Check out our help doc for the steps to edit your bank account information here: Configure your Shopify Payments settings.
If you're not able to verify the old bank account information, I can forward your store to our accounts team to take a further look. To make it easier for you, I've gone ahead and sent an email to your email address listed in your Shopify Community profile. Can you please take a look?
Once I hear from you, I can send this to our team.
