QR Code Generation for customer purchases to be used for POS Scanning (not shopify POS)

Good day,

We're currently trying to figure out a way to provide our customers with a QR code that they can present to our Live Retail Stores to confirm purchases made in shopify, inside our POS (not shopify POS). I haven't been able to find anything in the forums regarding any solutions for this problem. Is there a way to generate QR codes that references unique purchases made inside shopify that we can then push into our POS for scanning confirmation for our customers?

Yes, this is possible with our app Releasit QR Code Generator the first app that allows you to create QR Codes for both pre-purchase and post-purchase actions! The app allows you to generate unique QR Codes that you can then automatically show on your order confirmation email, thank you page and you can also print them automatically on your existing packing slips or invoices.

The way it would work for your specific case is:

1. Configure an Automatic QR Code on the app that, when scanned by you or your team, brings them automatically to the Shopify Admin order page, like this:

 

2. You will then have to contact us from the app so that we can help you integrate this automatic QR Code on the order confirmation email that your customers receive after their digital purchase

3. When your customers arrive at your store they will show your team the QR Code on their email and when your team scans it they will automatically see the Shopify order page so that you can give your customers the products they ordered (and you can easily mark the order as delivered or archive it so that each customer can only redeem their products once)

4. Your team can then select the products they see on the Shopify order page on your POS to push the purchase on your system
