Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
I am setting up a shopify store based in saudi arabia, and would like to have recurring payments or subscriptions enabled. The problem is as I understand all subscription apps and payments are managed through shopify checkout which only allow for shopify payments, authorize, stripe or paypal. The first 3 are not supported in the region and the last one doesn't accept SAR as a currency.
Has anyone faced a similar issue before? How did you resolve it?
Hi there, @Ibosan. Thanks for taking the time to reach out to the Shopify Community Forums with your question around offering recurring payments/subscription products for your business! My name is Imogen. It's good to meet you.
In order to be eligible to use a third party subscriptions app for your business, you need to meet the eligibility requirements that are outlined in our Subscriptions Help Doc. With that being said, if you're unable to meet the outlined eligibility options, then you won't be able to offer these sorts of products or payment options via your online store.
We've received a fair amount of feedback around this limitation, and we're happy to pass your request to be able to offer these sorts of products using the available apps to our Developers for their consideration. Though I can't promise what outcome may come as a result of sharing this feedback, you can trust that the appropriate team here at Shopify will see it.
