Registering custom payment gateway

Hi everyone,

I'm interested in registering my custom payment gateway with Shopify. Can someone walk me through the steps to get started? My payment gateway is not in the provider list.

Any guidance or resources would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @elkhanib,

Thank you for getting in touch and for expressing your internet in registering your gateway with Shopify. At this time, however, applications to become a Payments Partner are by invitation only. This is outlined further in our payments apps developer documentation:

Currently our Payments Platform is by invitation only, while we continue to build out our Payments Apps API and work through migrating existing partners to the latest platform. When applications fully reopen, there will be a Payment Partner Application form available to fill out.

Hi @IvanFromSwiipe,

There is not a process at this time as applications to become a Payments Partner are currently on hold, as per this document. An submission form will be posted once we are ready to begin accepting applications from Partners to become Payments Partners again.
