Remove Minimum Transaction Amount

I want to know if there is a way to remove the minimum transaction amount when using Shopify Payments.

Some of our customers have digital gift cards for $25, but if their total is $25.08 then they only owe 8 cents, but due to the 50 cent minimum they are unable to complete their transaction. 

I'm not worried about losing money on the transaction due to fees (the stated reason for the minimum) since we already made money on the purchase of the gift card, and that would be the only scenario where there the transaction total would be less than 50¢.
