We are creating a webshop that rent moving boxes.

 

I have already found good apps for setting renting period and starting/ending time (Izyrent/bookthatApp). But with addresses we are having trouble to find a good solution. 

 

What we want to offer:

 

1. We offer delivery and pickup service. We do the transport service by ourselves within 100 km radius.

2. We also offer that customer can pickup the boxes and return the boxes to our warehouse by themselves

 

What is the problem:

 

As our customers are moving they will need to fill two different addresses, if they want our transport service. One address for delivery (their soon to be old home) and other one for pickup (their new home). 

 

What do you guys suggest?

One way of doing this is to request the customer whether they want to do the pickup or use your delivery service, in the cart or product page. If they chose your delivery service, request for the new home address and add that in the cart note using the cart Ajax API; and inform them that they will only need to enter the old home address at the checkout page. This way you can have both addresses in the order details.

Yes I found apps for this and the address info and transport service needs can be solved this way (before the checkout)
