Request to Add iDeal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay for Shopify Payments in France

I would like to address a question regarding Shopify Payments in France. As you may know, Shopify Payments is the integrated payment solution offered by Shopify, which allows online stores to process payments quickly and easily.

However, I am disappointed to find that Shopify Payments in France does not offer iDeal as a payment method. iDeal is a very popular payment method in the Netherlands and is used by a large part of the population to make online purchases. It would be very useful for French businesses who wish to sell on the Dutch market to have access to this payment method.

In addition, I notice that Shopify Payments in France does not support Apple Pay and Google Pay, unlike other countries. These payment methods are increasingly popular worldwide and offer a fast and convenient online shopping experience for consumers.

I am aware that Shopify Payments in France supports Cartes Bancaires, which is very useful for businesses wishing to sell in France. However, I believe it is important for Shopify Payments in France to also offer iDeal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay so that French businesses can benefit from these popular payment methods to sell on the Dutch and international markets.

I would like to request that Shopify add iDeal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay for Shopify Payments in France. I hope this request will be taken into consideration to improve the online shopping experience for French businesses and consumers.

I agree with you on the point of Google Pay and why not iDeal (available with other gateways), however Apple Pay is active for Shopify Payment in FR.

I hope Google Pay can be activated soon, it would have been great for BFCM
