Restrict Local Pickup Based on Shipping Address

Hi All. Is there a way to restrict the local pickup option based on the customer's shipping address within Shopify? For instance, once the customer selects shipping and enters an out of state address or one outside of a local geography, is there a way to either remove the local pickup option or change the pre-selected method to one of the shipping rates? Local pickup is listed first and pre-selected which seems to be causing some confusion for customers during checkout or they don't make a selection which then requires a second charge to cover the shipping cost. I envision an "if, then" rule coding scenario and would prefer to do this without installing another app. TIA for your help.

Hey @Hunter08  I think your case can use invoice customization application and there are many applications that can meet your requirements. Especially they are completely free with basic features and enough for simple cases.
Try it and see the results.

Hi @Henry_Fordeer, Thank you but I would like to avoid installing another app. There should be a way to do this within the platform and I had hoped for a coding solution.
