Royal Mail Click and drop - What order

Pretty much a simple question but Ive come accross from Magento and had to cut and past Royal mail Tracking from click and drop. Have only just had my first shopify orders which went to Click and drop.

So my question is nice and simple

Do I fullfill first on shopify and then print the label on Click and drop

Or 

Do I print the label first on Click and drop and then fullfill on shopify or do I fullfill after tracking has come accross to shopify

Also when does the tracking get imported into shopify, Instantly depending on 1 and 2, some tme later or when manifested on click and drop

Ive used Click and drop with both etsy and ebay where this happens after printing the label and it automattically update that status.

So possibly I should be printing the label and then do nothing as when click and drop sends the info back it will populate and mark as fullfilled.

When using Magento it didnt work as our proccess was to complete the order when printing packing slips and a long time before printing labels.

Just trying to get my head around this so that I have  good proccess with are quick in place

I possibly missed this step during set up  Please note that you will need to assign a Shopify store location before we can update your Shopify order statuses to 'fulfilled'.

Will check during next despatch to see if it was that.

Hi! To clarify, do you have the Click & Drop app installed on your Shopify store? If so, their app documentation mentions that they are "only able to import Shopify orders that are in 'Unfulfilled' order status, 'Paid' payment status, and no older than 7 days old." It sounds like you'll need to fulfill the orders from the Click & Drop app first, and that should automatically mark them as 'Fulfilled' in your Shopify admin. Since this is a third-party app, I recommend double checking with the app developer first.
