Seeking Support for Tax support by Affirm Payment Method Integration
Shopify collects payment information, including tax+shipping charges, however only relays total amount collected to Affirm via the Shopify payment method integration.
In Shopify we accept orders from customers using Affirm, we charge taxes - shown in screenshot #1. These taxes are being charged successfully.
When we check the Affirm Merchant Portal, and review the order: tax information is not present. While the total charge is accurate, the tax information gives our team a false notion that Affirm is not charging tax to customers. The amount is correct, but there is no tax information. Note: No shipping information was reported, because the order example used free shipping.
In reviewing the Affirm API logs, the tax information does not seem to be passed to the merchant portal.
Please help to resolve.
