Send specific orders automatically to a fulfiller?

Hi guys

All of my products on my store are fulfilled by me. However there is one product that is fulfilled by a fulfilment center.

When an order comes in that has that product, how can I make the order email automatically send to that fulfilment center?

I only want them to receive emails for orders with that specific product, and not all orders.

Hi @Oliur,

I understand you have one product that is fulfilled by a fulfillment center. When an order comes in that has that product, you want the order email automatically sent to that fulfillment center.

The way to do this is to set up a custom fulfillment service in Shopify.

Activate a fulfillment service:

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Shipping.
2. In the Additional shipping methods > Custom order fulfillment section, click Add fulfillment service.
3. In the form, enter:
   • the title of your custom fulfillment provider
   • the email address of your custom fulfillment provider.

   When you mark an item or complete order as fulfilled in your Shopify admin, the fulfillment service is sent an email with all the order information so that they can fulfill it for you.

4. Click Add fulfillment service.

Here is the solution.

Auto Fulfill can send an order notification email to your vendor every time an order is placed. The email includes vendor link to enter the tracking numbers, so the order gets fulfilled automatically in Shopify.

You can filter specific products to be notified.

What does the fulfillment email contain?  Is the data formatted like a csv or json request, or is it just plain text?

Does the fulfilment centre not have a filter to obtain just the products they require?

At Storeship Fulfilment, we receive all orders through the API and then just filter out what orders/products our customers require us to fulfill, other orders we just ignore, customers can set their own filters of what they require.
