Setting up Free Shipping based on membership status

We are looking to offer free shipping to members that sign up for our monthly subscription service. (think Amazon Prime)

Instead of setting shipping to be free after a certain amount spent, we would like this to be more of a member incentive to help entice more people to sign up for our monthly membership service. Is this possible to set up using Shopify, or would we have to add a third party app? If a third party app is needed, what is the best route to go for this?

You could do this with our Seal Subscriptions app (https://apps.shopify.com/seal-subscriptions), as we have a feature that allows you to apply customer tags to your subscribers with an active subscription.

Additionally, you can also use another app, called Bundler - Product Bundles (https://apps.shopify.com/bundler-product-bundles), which we have an active integration with.

The core feature of Bundler is to apply discounts to the customers' carts, whether they have specific products in the carts, or if they have a multiple of specific products in the cart. However Bundler can also be used to apply discounts to customers' carts, if the customer has a specific customer tag (in this case, it would be the active subscription tag from Seal Subscriptions).

Bundler can even apply Free shipping on the order, without any discount applied.
