Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
We have customers who are unable to checkout because shipping address and shipping options are completely missing from the checkout screen. If they try to process payment, they'll get an error. We had the developers of our wholesale app check into it ... they say the error is on the Shopify side and deals with the Draft Order APIs. In my testing, I can confirm the error only happens when a draft is created first (either as a wholesale customer using the wholesale app, or if I create a manual draft order and email an invoice to a customer). However, it doesn't happen 100% in these two scenarios ... we have had wholesale customers submit orders online without any problems. Can anyone shed some light on what is happening and how it can be fixed? Thanks.
It is likely that the item variant property "Physical product" is set to false. You can check by selecting the variant, selecting "bulk edit", add the column "Physical product" under the "Shipping" category.
Thank you for your suggestion, but that is not what is causing this issue. I have confirmed that all products are set to true for "Physical product."
Update: Tests ran this morning are now showing "Ship to" and "Shipping method" on the checkout screen; however, it is dropping wholesale pricing. The wholesale app is doing its job, applying the correct pricing, and creating a draft that is accurate (confirmed when I view drafts in the Shopify admin). But Shopify almost seems like they have "fixed" the problem (temporarily) by ignoring the Draft Order APIs and only pulling pricing from the website. So the issue still isn't fixed.
