Shipping and Delivery

Hi, I have a question which I assume will be pretty easy to solve, however, it's not one that I am having much joy with. So I have two shipping profiles one for general and one for a separate delivery method, general profile contains two prices one for standard £4.95 and one for express £6.95, the other profile is a flat £6.95 this uses a different courier. As it stands if I add to the cart one from each profile I get the two added together £4.95 + £6.95 = £11.90. What I want to happen is for the £6.95 to to be the highest price paid as the general products can ship with courier.

Hope the above makes sense, any help would be greatly appreciated.
