Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hi,
I am setting up my store and I am thinking to have different shipping options.
Free standard shipping above 50$. let suppose standard shipping cost 10$. I also want to offer priority shipping, which for example cost 22$. The customer makes an order of 50$ and want to have the product shipped with priority mail. Now I don't want to charge him 22$, but 22$ (priority shipping) - 10$ standard shipping = 12$. How can I set this up?
Thanks,
Philipp
There's no way to set in shopify to pay extra shipping, but you can change it another way, for example, $50 for free shipping, $100 for prior free shipping, it works too. Or you can make add a product named similar to extra shipping which costs $12, if clients orders above $50 he can add the $12 product for priority shipping. Or you can offer a upgrade shipping promotion, people who buy $50 and choose priority shipping with positive review on social networks return $22 coupon. There are many ways you can take advantage to satisfy your clients.
Thanks for the info, will look into it.
Best,
Philipp
