Any update from Shopify regarding Shipping Charges For The Highlands And Islands In Scotland?

As a small business we really need to be able to block or charge additional postage like we can for  N. IRELAND  etc.

I understand that it can be challenging for those who have customers based across these areas. Currently, it is not feasible to distinguish between the Highlands & Islands and the rest of Scotland within the shipping zones or create charge additional postage. Hey, if you are open to third party solutions, you can checkout our app ShipMagic for this. You can setup different rates or block shipping for different pincodes with our app.

I'll look into it. Didn't really want a third party app when it's a simple fox by Shopify ha.

Unfortunately Shopify doesn't have the Highlands broken out according to how postage works or how the region is even divided.

In our app, Intuitive Shipping we have the ability to create the Highland Zones and much more to control shipping costs and charge appropriately. Our app has the ability to create what we call Sub-Zones that are postal code ranges (follow this link to see how we even have areas already pre-built).

Having any third party rate provider such as Intuitive Shipping does require you to have Third Party Calculated Rates enabled (this feature isn't available to Shopify plan level Basic). This feature does have a cost associated ($20 a month) with it depending on your plan level.
