Shipping - Customer being charged shipping on their order

Currently if you purchase regular product on our website you pay $30 on orders $150 to $200. no problem there..

If you purchase sale products, you are charged the same amount...no problem there...

HOWEVER what has happened is that if you have both regular stock and sale items on the same order it charged both which should not have happened. How do I fix this short of having to refund them 1/2 the shipping charge?

Thanks for reaching out in our Community forums and for sharing your concern, I’d be happy to help.

 

I understand that you are running into a few issues with your shipping, and I'll do my best to attempt to isolate the issue as this can be caused by several factors. This issue can be related to multiple locations. For instance, If the inventory levels for a single location are insufficient to fulfill an order, then our system will split up the locations and charge an additional rate for the other location used. A workaround to this would be to consolidate your inventory to one location, or add all products to all locations so that only one location is used to fulfill the order. 

 

If this is not the case for you, this could be a shipping profiles issue. This occurs when you have specific products in different shipping profiles and as a result, are charged different shipping fees. Feel free to provide more context around this and I'll be happy to take a closer look. 

 

I was also wondering if you considered offering carrier calculated shipping? Doing so may simplify your shipping strategy and provide accurate shipping rates depending on the customers order and location.
