[SHIPPING ISSUE] Pause on Ability to Purchase Labels???

I run a seasonal business, and our store has been scaling fairly quickly, with daily sales jumping nearly 10x in comparison to last month. 

 

Today, while packing orders, we were given the notification "We’re currently reviewing your account. If the issue is not resolved within 2 business days, please contact [their support email]." Shopify reps have been extraordinarily unhelpful, and this has the potential to entirely upend our growth. Our tickets have been "bumped up to priority", and are still to be addressed. We were stripped of our ability to print labels until this is addressed, and our orders are piling up quickly. 

 

Has anybody else run into anything similar? It's disgusting how much we're paying for this level of inadequacy.

You seem to be using Shopify’s built-in label creation flow for processing shipments. Since Shopify controls this aspect, you may not be able to do much until they resume your account.

 

If your shipping volume is gradually increasing and you are processing a minimum of 5-10 shipments per day, I recommend exploring the option of creating your own carrier account with the shipping carrier of your choice.

 

They might offer discounted shipping rates based on the volume of shipments you process. Additionally, as your shipment volume grows, you can negotiate for more discounts and benefit from carrier-specific services.
