Is there a way to turn of the Shipping confirmation on Shopify. I don't have Plus. I want the shipping notifications with tracking number ot go out via Klaviyo, not via shopify, but don't want customers getting 2 emails from us.

Hi Gina,

You can work around this challenge by adding Klaviyo as a custom fulfillment location in your non-plus Shopify account.

  1. Go to Settings, then click on Locations from your Shopify admin.
  2. Click on Add Location and call it Klaviyo Fulfillment. Remember to save it.
  3. Then, go to Products and bulk edit their location to what you just created.
  4. From now on, fulfill your orders via this custom location and do not check the Notify Customer box.

With this, Shopify won’t send the default shipping confirmation or tracking email to your customer. If your Klaviyo Shopify integration and shipping confirmation flow is configured well, Klaviyo is the only one that will send your customers an email.

A more straightforward workaround is to use the ParcelPanel app. It integrates with Klaviyo, allowing you to customize the tracking emails you send your customers from an easy drag-and-drop interface. The double email issue is solved effectively with a toggle ON/OFF option for Shopify emails when you set up the app.
