Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hi - I am NZ based and wanting to offer free shipping in NZ, and set price $30 for Australia.
the free shipping gets set up in the General Shipping rate - that also states this applied to all products not in other markets and any new products created.
However, if I add the custom shipping rate for Australia, there are no products available for this.
And if I do make all my products available, then they aren't available under the general shipping rate.
I had a customer try twice today to purchase something and I'm really stuck as to what to do. Unless I totally remove the Australian option, however, I would like to be able to offer this.
Can anyone help? Thanks

I don't think you can save a product in two profiles. In the general profile, you can create two separate shipping zones, for Australia and New Zealand, and assign rates for each zone (a free shipping for NZ, and $30 rates for Australia).

Hi - yes thanks, I finally worked that one out myself. It is a bit frustrating when you pay an independent Shopify expert $200 per hour and they set it up incorrectly. But on the positive side, it's up and running. Thanks for your response. Cheers Bron
