Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hi my customers can’t check out because my shipping rates are not showing up helpppppp!!!!’
You'd need to provide screenshots of your shipping rates, for both of your shipping profiles, in order for anyone to try and guess what the issue is.

I have created Shopify Checkout Rate Troubleshooting Steps. I hope this helps.
Hi there
we set up a shipping account with UPS recently and we were given a discounted rate for shipments to Ireland.
I then got the UPS account connected to the store but the rates showing to customers at checkout are retail rates not the negotiated rates and so it is showing €161 to ship 1kg to Ireland from UK.
can anyone help please
Hi there, @Naturalumber. Thanks for taking the time to follow up on this thread regarding your shipping rate situation here. My name is Imogen. It's good to meet you!
We're unable to authenticate folks here in the community, so we're unable to access your store or shipping settings ourselves to see how things are currently configured. From what you've described, it sounds like you're setting up carrier calculated rates for your business by integrating an account you have with a shipping carrier (so in your example, UPS) to your Shopify Store. Is this correct?
If I am correct in my understanding of what you've described, then I recommend checking out this help document on how to set up UPS Carrier Calculated Shipping for your business. I suspect that you haven't yet set up these carrier rates so they're presented to your customers in checkout. I recommend trying the steps outlined below:
- From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Shipping and delivery.
- In the Shipping section, click the shipping profile that you want to add carrier-calculated rates to.
- Next to the zone where you want to add a rate, click Add rate.
- Select Use carrier or app to calculate rates.
- In the drop-down menu, choose the shipping service that you want to add calculated rates for.
- In the SERVICES section, select the shipping methods from that shipping service that you want to provide as options for your customers at checkout.
- Optional: In the FUTURE SERVICES section, choose whether to automatically offer any new services that the shipping service makes available.
- Optional: In the HANDLING FEE section, add any handling fee that you'd like to be added to the calculated rate.
- Click Done, and then click Save.
Once you have things saved, do the same testing you did previously to reaching out to see if your carrier rates are showing as expected. If you still experience issues with presenting your rates after trying the set up steps above, reach out to our Authenticated Support Team via our Help Center so we can access your store and shipping configuration and do some more in-depth troubleshooting.
