Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Trying to set up multiple shipping options on the store but want them to have different variations. So far, at checkout, the shipping options are being added together rather than being options that you can choose between or have one supersede the other.
We have a general flat rate based on destination on all products but want to offer a lettermail option for products that are smaller and lighter. Is there any way to have certain products added to the cart and if under a certain weight total, you get offered the cheaper shipping, and when something else gets added to the cart that doesn't fall into the lettermail properties then the lettermail option is removed and the general flat rate gets applied.
You can add all products under a single shipping profile, configuring the weight for each product and determining shipping options based on weight.
However, things can get complicated when you have multiple shipping profiles, especially when combined rates are displayed at checkout.
Hi @pg7,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I'd be happy to provide some assistance with this request.
As @Mirdas has mentioned, all products can be added into one shipping profile where you can then create rates that are based on weight. To learn more about this, I'd recommend checking out this guide. To gather a bit more information, do you require multiple shipping profiles?
I look forward to your reply.
