Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Can I have a US Shopify account and have my product distribution center in another country?
I have a company in the United States but my products and my warehouses are in Colombia. So I would like to know if I can send my products from Colombia, and not worry about importing all my merchandise to the United States, and then sending them to another country.
Hey @SAPEKE13,
Thanks for reaching out!
Yes, you can have a US Shopify account and operate your product distribution center in another country like Colombia. Shopify allows you to set up your store and manage your products from anywhere in the world. You can fulfill orders from your Colombian warehouse directly to customers in various countries without the need to import all your merchandise to the United States first.
Shopify allows you to create “Markets” for different geographic locations or countries within a single store. For example, if you primarily sell to the United States and European countries, you can create a UK-US market for English-speaking customers and a European market for other countries. With Shopify Markets, you can sell in up to 20 languages from a single store, making it convenient for customers worldwide. I suggest reading our helpful guide here for further information.
