Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
I am beginner of shopify, I want to ask if customers buy something in my store, then the information of the customers will automatically send to the supplier or what?
Hi @Pohwen,
By default, when a customer places an order on your Shopify store, you will receive the order details, including customer information, shipping address, and the products ordered. However, this information is not automatically sent to your supplier unless you set up a specific system to do so. You can forward information manually, automatically send order details using a dropshipping app or use Shopify's built-in notifications feature to send a copy of the order confirmation to your supplier’s email.
@JuneN has explained it well; I hope that helps.
As a new eCommerce store owner, you need to prepare your business model. Decide if you will store the products in-house or use dropshipping. Also, determine your shipping pricing strategy and whether you will charge customers for shipping.
Initially, you can manually manage the dropshipping or shipping processes. As your order volume increases, you can look for apps to automate these processes.
