Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Shop Pay defaulting to local pick up instead of letting customer decide is causing major issues.
We are receiving at least 3 orders per week that were supposed to be sent but the customer has accidentally checked out with local pick up instead. And what makes it even more painful is you cannot add shipping to a local pick up order. My customers are getting frustrated.

From the screenshot it looks like "Free pickup" was set up as a free shipping method instead of using the local pick up. You might need to remove those shipping options and follow the instructions on how to set up local pickup/local delivery instead.

That was exactly it! We had to remove free porch delivery as well though, because there's no way to setup a condition of the customer's zip code 😞
Either way, it works now.

You can set local delivery method by postal code or distance from the store location.
