Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
We are an Australian company and unfortunately, customers here have not heard of "ShopPay"
I have had many customers contacting me saying they wanted to use their credit card but refuse to use or 'sign up" for other payment options. Not realizing that Shop Pay is using their own credit card without "signing up" for anything.
Is there a way to change the banner to something like "card payment" or "credit card" so people understand that is what Shop Pay does?
We are losing a LOT of sales because of this problem.
I have even created a banner to explain that Shop pay selection is a Credit card option. But people are still logging out before reading this message.
Frustrated.
I have been using Shopify for many years now and am happy apart from this problem.
I don't want to de-activate shop pay, just fix the banner or visual explanation.

At the moment, there isn't a way to edit the Shop Pay text, but I have submitted this feedback to our developers for consideration in future updates. Continuing to educate your customers about what Shop Pay is and how to checkout is a good idea if you want to keep that payment method enabled. Feel free to share this page with them: What Shop Does.
If you're finding that a significant amount of customers are abandoning their carts and contacting you about payment methods despite the banner you created, it might even be worth sharing more information on your social media pages, in an email newsletter, or wherever you're reaching your customers. For example, you could create a story or series of stories on Instagram and have them saved as highlights on your page.
Does your store display the payment options on the footer as well? I know that not all customers check there, but in most cases, they should be able to see icons that display which payment options are available, including any major credit cards you accept.
