SHOPIFY BALANCE ACCOUNT: BALANCE ACCOUNT IS 0 AFTER A PAYOUT IS SHOWING AS PAID FOR TODAY

I have a shopify balance account. I received a payout today that shows as paid however it is not reflected in my shopify balance account. The balance is 0 after a payout was paid out to it. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks for getting in touch. 

Just to check, have you still not received the funds into your Shopify Balance account, as payouts from Shopify Payments into Shopify Balance will always appear after 1 business day. Alternatively, if it is a Shop Pay Installment, payouts will to take up to 3 business days to arrive in the Balance account, despite showing as paid in the Payouts section of the admin. You can learn more about receiving payouts with your Shopify Balance account here at this link.

If you find that the payout is taking more than one business day, then this is likely due to the cutoff time period for when a transaction is counted as part of the payout. The cutoff time for factoring in orders for a payout is 12 pm UTC (midnight). Let me know how it's going!

I know this is an old thread, but I encountered it while doing a search. I, too, have a Shopify Balance account and it seems to be taking longer than one business day for my payouts to arrive. I was just curious if this is normal. When I signed up for the Shopify Balance account, I was under the impression that it would allow me immediate access to my funds. Currently, it's taking 2-3 business days to transfer to my Shopify Balance account. For example, I am at a show today, and my orders show that they will be transferred on a June 12 payout. That's three business days from today, Saturday, June 8. I'm just curious about this, as I'm coming to Shopify from Square, where I had *immediate* access to funds from sales. I love Shopify, but the 2-3 business day wait for funds is honestly pretty frustrating. 😕

Thanks for reaching out. Payouts to your Shopify Balance account can take 1-3 business days depending on a variety of factors. You can review your upcoming payout schedule in the admin under Shopify Payments > Payouts.

We are constantly working with our banking partners to decrease the payout period, and we appreciate your feedback!

Hi, Greta. Thank you for your quick response. I do see the payout date. It says June 12, which is 3 business days from today. I can't change it, as far as I can tell. So, 3 business days for a payout is normal, even with a Shopify Balance account? What are the "variety of factors?" Is there a way to shorten that transfer time? Thanks again.

I don't have all of the details on eligibility criteria for a shorter payout schedule, but our banking partners are constantly monitoring accounts to determine if the schedule for a store can be shortened. 

Shopify Balance is still the fastest way to receive your payouts, and we appreciate your understanding!

for some reason when i try to make a balance account it doesnt popout and all my orders payouts say pending and payout is at $0 keep in mind i have like 10 orders i still havent recieved money from.
